The Past

Markus grew up in Edsbyn, Sweden's eastern coast. He always looked up to his father, especially in tough times. He always knew that even when his father was struggling, he loved him. Now, more than ever, he started realizing that his father was a huge part of his life. When Markus was a little boy, his father taught him how to use the family Commodore 128. When he was seven, his family moved to Stockholm, Sweden. There he fell into a crowd of schoolboy programmers. They were all only about thirteen, and they competed against each other to see who could get the coolest effects on their Atari ST's. By 1994 Markus knew he wanted to design and program video games. He couldn't get a job for about two years, but when he did, the genius came out.
